The Sikat Dance Repertory...

Known as the Buhawi Dance Artist but the group was re-established last July.

Recognized by its repertoire of Philippine contemporary-folk performances, SIKAT Dance Repertory is composed of modern youth from diverse bounds of Metro Manila. Mutually tighten by their worship for the Philippine culture to demonstrate the deep meaning dance; as a vital art form and not simply a passion but a big responsibility.

The group had gone a long way since the group was started by just for joining baranggay dance contests since year 2000 (as Buhawi Dance Artists) and formed from a company of different dance groups for public gatherings and city-oriented events (as FTN Dancers of Taguig City). But every year comes with big responsibilities as the group develops youth passion & pushes the art of dancing beyond its margins. The group was re-established on July 2008 marking its distinctive flavor of dance pedagogy.
